Tonight the Burlington Hotel Association had an appreciation event for Gord Langford their former chair and former G.M. of the Burlington Holiday Inn. We met at the Waterfront Hotel Downtown Burlington and enjoyed the beautiful evening and view of the lake from the private dining room. There were a few boats enjoying the calm waters and many diners on the patio. The Beaver and Bulldog catered this event and we were able to sample their tasty appetizers such as huge crab cakes and my personal favorite - Sweet Maple Bacon canape accompanied with fresh green apple. We presented Gord with a token of appreciation for his leadership starting the hotel association and the Tourism gang created a limerick for him. (lol) What a great evening!
