I was fortunate to have a lunch meeting with one of our new board of directors members at her "office" - the lovely Stone House Restaurant off Harvester Rd. across from the Holiday Inn. This fine dining restaurant just opened this year. Hanne and her husband own this establishment plus the Lakehouse off the QEW Niagara. While doing her orientation to Tourism Burlington I enjoyed the lunch special - a veal wrap with sweet potatoe fries and house salad. It was delicious and so much that I had to take a doggie bag. We even treated ourselves to the mini-desserts - a sweet ending to the meal - the strawberry cheesecake was divine! Stonehouse is also one of the participating restaurants in A Taste of Burlington.
