Last year my girlfriend and I went to Burlington Women’s Show and it was such fun that we have now made it an annual outing! We enjoyed having hair consultations, seeing fashion shows, trying various foods and beverages from local restaurants and wineries and learning about new products. Shopping, of course was also a hit, and we came home with jewellery and other accessories.
This year we already have our tickets as the event is coming up on Sunday February 20th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Tansley Woods Community Centre. You are best to take the shuttle from Joseph Brant Wellness Centre, as the parking lot last year was full when we arrived. From the website some of the highlights for this year include CH Morning Live special guests Jeremy Parsons, and Lesley Stewart, spa services, beauty secrets, free food and wine, and shopping.
Plan to invite your out of town friends and family to visit and attend the show. Need an added incentive? If you purchase your tickets before February 11 you get a $10 gift certificate from participating restaurants.
