Yesterday we had our final meeting of the year with the Burlington Hotel Association members (Best Western, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Hilton Garden, Homewood Suites and Waterfront Hotels) at the Red Canoe Bistro. We meet regularly with the hotels to plan marketing campaigns, approve event funding grants to local groups who attract additional overnight stays and coordinate the Time out Sport networking meetings. After our meeting we enjoyed some fun, fellowship and fabulous food and were joined by the rest of the Tourism and hotel sales teams. Chef Tobias prepared a number of delicious tapas for us to enjoy including lobster, mushroom tart, crab cakes and meats that were cured on site. All were pleasingly presented and scrumptious! We enjoyed it so much we are going back next week for our Tourism staff and volunteer holiday gathering. Thanks Tobias!
