Out for lunch today at one of our favorite downtown haunts - Siam Dish. The lunch special is a real bargain at $7.95, the service is fast and the food has just the right amount of spice and heat. I always go for the Pad Thai which is very mildly flavoured with nice chunks of chicken, sprouts, scallions and nuts. It comes with a sweet and sour soup that is spicy and great to clear your head, plus a small egg roll. The perfect amount for lunch without needing a nap mid afternoon. The meals are all served on unique ceramic plates with leaves and elephant themes - very charming! If you don't have time to dine in, they do have take out which the tourism gang does quite often. It was a little windy to brave the patio although others were enjoying the sunny fall day. Many of the downtown patios have been decked out with fall decor which looks very festive. Come down and check it out this weekend with the Amazing Bed Race on this Sunday at 12:30pm.
