On my way home yesterday, I stopped by Royal Botanical Gardens.  I was surprised to find that the entrance to this beautiful facility had been transformed.  It looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss’s book.  Very funky and fun, I thought.  I will have to bring the kids and have them check it out!  I think that they will think that it is very cool.  Once you enter through this fun doorway, you are greeted by and follow along to find doors…and more doors….decorated doors – each so different, and each saying something else.  This is just the beginning to Royal Botanical Gardens’ “Doorways to the Holidays” event.  You can go and meander at your leisure.  No hurry, just admire each decorated door.  Such creative attention has been given to each door.  Each message, of each door is evident and the kids will have as much fun as you!  There are doors inside and out.  And if you time your visit, you might be able to take in the Auxiliary Sale this weekend, or over the next month, you may even catch Santa visiting and some special guest entertainers.  You know… Santa loves RBG!  It is his head-space before the big night!!

So, “take some time to smell the poinsettias”.  Take your family and visit Royal Botanical Gardens and enjoy some of this Holiday Season!
